How does the free tier work?+
Sign up, start chatting. You get starter credits to try personas, the vault, and memory — no credit card needed. When they run out you can top up credits any time, or move to Pro for a monthly batch of included credits at a better rate.
What do I get on Pro?+
$7.99 a month gets you ~690K LLM credits included, every persona and feature dequid has — personas, vault, memory, people, SEEK — 1 GB of storage, and the best credit rate we offer on anything beyond the included amount.
What if I use more than the included credits?+
Nothing breaks. dequid spends your included credits first, then any credits you've bought, and you can top up whenever you like. Pro accounts can also switch on auto-top-up so you never hit a wall mid-conversation.
Why a subscription if I also pay for credits?+
Think of dequid as the layer on top of the LLM, not the LLM itself. The subscription pays for the layer and includes a monthly batch of credits to run on. Credits pay for whatever LLM you consume through it. That keeps both line items honest — you can see exactly what the product does and what the models cost.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes — from your account settings. You keep Pro through the end of the billing period. Any credits you bought stay in your balance and keep working on Free.
What about the Mac app?+
The Mac app is local and bring-your-own-key — it runs on your machine and you connect your own LLM provider keys directly. It's currently in private beta. The web app is the hosted service with the pricing above. Use either or both.
