Download the .dmg
Your invite email contains a signed download link. The file is ~8 MB and requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.
Open and drag to Applications
Double-click the .dmg, drag dequid.app to your Applications folder, then launch it.
Add an API key
Open Settings → Providers. Add your Anthropic, OpenAI, or other LLM service provider key. It's stored securely in the macOS Keychain.
Create your first personas
You start with five seed personas — Ari, Vax, Tark, Nack, Kana — each with its own voice. Tag your people, link your vault folders, exclude any memories that shouldn't apply. Switching personas swaps the entire scope.
